~ St. Francis of Assisiif our spiritual practice doesn’t continually challenge us to open our hearts in ever expanding circles of inclusion, & less exclusion, then our spiritual practice is either failing us, or we are failing it. if our spiritual practice doesn’t bring us closer into intimacy & union with love, then we need to find a new spiritual practice – & yes, this sacred circle of inclusion includes the immigrant, the trans person, the disabled person, the poor & hungry, & every other category of person & life that is currently being attacked through both rhetoric & policy.
