we are so easily caught up in them – and then we are trapped, we argue, we fight, we go to war. there’s no room for revelation, for awe, for inspiration, for newness – for life.

better to keep a beginner’s mind, to just dive in. dive into the Mystery, dive into Love.

we think of love as a feeling, but thankfully this isn’t accurate. such thinking may work well for sentimental cards, but doesn’t really work so well for life. 

rather, love is something we commit to beyond feelings which come and go. it is something we make and take vows for. 

love calls us, sometimes by invitation and sometimes by demand, to show up over and over again, often in new and creative ways – for ourselves as well as for others.

love is work. 

it is path and practice.
