Kansas w/ out warning has voided & revoked the licenses of transgender people in the state, along w/ voiding birth certificates that state a trans person’s transitioned gender, making it law for it to only state biological sex assigned at birth.
to my trans friends – i love you. you are just as much a sacred embodiment of love as anyone else. the right-wing Christian Nationalism we are seeing push this agenda is a heresy, it is anti-Gospel, & it is anti-Christ. there is no exception to loving our neighbor. the right-wing Christian Nationalism we are seeing is also anti-democratic, & anti-Constitution. please know you have many people who love you, support you in your courageous authenticity, & are fighting for you. please know this, know your value & your worthiness. i’m grateful for the gift of your existence, which helps my heart to grow & love more fully & freely.

Hatred dies hard, until you need a hand to hold. I live in SE Kansas. On the rare occasion of eating out alone, gun-toting men in camo at the next table were musing upon a day when it would be open season to shoot-to-kill “the others” – which would include me. It’s counter-intuitive that we have to pray for them too.
