we would never know the light without knowing darkness. so darkness is not our enemy. darkness, too, is our friend, guide, & teacher in this life. there is also a beautiful alchemy to darkness, a fertile space where all begins, where love works quietly & persistently as we rest. so like everything, we can include darkness on our path, knowing that within winter’s darkness, the seeds of spring await.
