so many things happening in life, it can feel like the world around us is burning. and, in many ways it is. but there are also little delightful things, moments of joy, peeking through. and humor, even when it seems not so. it’s good to give such moments and things our attention as well, and allow ourselves to feel the reprieve and the bits of bliss. 

like this, today. Jiselle, sitting atop my shoulders eating the back of my head while i was having a conversation. and then decided she’d had enough, so she moved to kissing my ear. maybe she was appreciating our interdependent relationship. buddhanature to buddhanature.

she’s a sweetheart and moody. her hair gets in everything.

this also is life and love.
